Eastern time with a date attached
America/New_York describes the named rule set used for New York. The labels EST and EDT distinguish displayed offsets, but neither label alone supplies the full calendar of future changes. Keep the IANA identifier in a saved plan and let the selected date choose the offset.

Resolve the wall time before exporting
On 1 November 2026, 01:30 resolves to two instants: 05:30 UTC at UTC−04:00, or 06:30 UTC at UTC−05:00. On 8 March, 02:30 has no matching instant. The repeated-hour choice and missing-hour correction are different operations.
Use this identifier in a plan
Find America/New_York in the zone directory or choose New York from the city directory. Add the other meeting locations, enter their availability, and check the complete duration. The supported planning years are 2026–2035; future political rule changes may require a new data version.
A calendar export uses the resolved UTC start and end times. The zone remains part of the planning context, while the exported instant stays unambiguous when another calendar displays it in its own time zone.
