Download calendar events

Take a reviewed single meeting or twelve-date preview into your calendar with an ICS file, then verify the imported dates and duration.

Before downloading

Check the date, start and end times, and every city’s local date. Resolve any missing or repeated local-time warning. The download remains unavailable while a required time is unresolved. Review the event title and decide whether the file contains only information you are comfortable importing or sharing.

A single meeting

  1. Select the intended meeting instant and check the whole duration against availability.

  2. Open Export and choose Calendar file (.ics).

  3. Review the event title and cities in the summary.

  4. Download the file, then open or import it in your calendar application.

One 90-minute meeting on Tuesday, 27 October 2026, using IANA 2026f.

DTEND:20261027T143000Z

The Z suffix marks UTC. These two lines describe the same start and end shown above.

This event starts at 13:00 UTC and ends at 14:30 UTC. Each city row describes that same event. A calendar using another display zone may show another local date or hour while preserving the correct instant.

A weekly plan

Choose an anchor city and review all twelve meetings. The export contains the resolved dates as separate events rather than an open-ended recurring series. If you explicitly skip an occurrence, check the revised count in the export summary. Unresolved rows prevent the series download.

In the example plan, New York stays at 09:00 on Tuesdays. London changes from 13:00 on 27 October 2026 to 14:00 on 3 November. Read the rows on both sides of the change before downloading.

Check the import

Confirm the number of events, their duration, and a date on each side of a clock change. Your calendar application may display the event in its own selected time zone. Compare the local date and numeric offset as well as the hour. If you re-import an updated file, inspect how that application handles existing or duplicate entries.

If something goes wrong

No file appeared

retry the download and check whether the browser blocked it. The visible plan remains available.

Return to export

Open the last plan you reviewed for export in this tab. If it is unavailable, you can return to the planner.

The calendar cannot read the file

download a fresh copy and try the application’s import command. Retain the original error message for investigation.

The time looks wrong

check the calendar’s display zone, the event date, and any earlier-or-later instance choice. Return to the preview before changing the event.

Keep a backup

An ICS file stores calendar events; project JSON stores an editable HourBraid plan. Export both if you want the schedule and its settings. Downloading a file does not send invitations, connect an account, deliver reminders, or update earlier imports.
