Set each row independently
Choose the local weekdays on which the participant’s availability begins. Enter a local start and end time for that row. The Weekdays and Every day shortcuts change the selected days; they do not supply holidays or calendar bookings. If no days are selected, the row offers no availability.
Use the example as a starting point
The default 09:00–17:00 Monday–Friday setting is an editable planning assumption. It is not a claim about a city’s normal business hours or a participant’s employment schedule. Confirm the hours with the people involved, including any agreed early, late, or weekend exception.
Interpret overnight and full-day intervals
An end earlier than the start crosses into the next local date. A Monday 22:00–06:00 interval includes Tuesday morning. Matching start and end values represent one complete local day beginning at that time. A local day containing a clock change can have a different elapsed length from twenty-four hours.
Read the seven-day result
A fitting window has enough common time for the complete selected duration. A short window has some overlap but insufficient length. A no-overlap day has no positive-length interval shared by every row. The result identifies closed or limiting rows so you can inspect the relevant constraints.
Check one concrete example
On 27 October 2026, New York, London, and Berlin with illustrative 09:00–17:00 weekday hours share 13:00–16:00 UTC. A 90-minute meeting starting at 13:00 UTC fits. If London’s end becomes 14:00 local, the common window shrinks to one hour and the same duration no longer fits.
Change an assumption deliberately
Shorten the meeting, choose another date, or discuss a change to the limiting participant’s hours. A planner cannot decide whether someone should work late. After editing availability, inspect the selected meeting again; a previously selected instant may now be outside the revised hours.
